Here comes the holiday season again, and with it the banquets, the meetings with friends and family, the tables full of all kinds of delicious food and a lot of alcohol.
No matter how careful we are and how carefully we eat, we invariably gain a few pounds. The holidays are over and we start thinking about how to get back into our favorite clothes. Here several ways to lose weight, without, however, indulging in starvation.
Start drinking water
Well, we all know that water is good for our body, for our skin, but you are probably wondering how it will help us with hunger. It really suppresses hunger. Try it the next time you feel like eating something in no time or you feel like reaching for the forbidden pastries in the fridge. Take a sip, two, five and you will feel the difference. The same goes for eating. Drink more water with each meal and you will see how you will eat less.
Eat small portions
I know that some of you do not have time to prepare food for 4-5 meals a day, nor do they have time to eat so often. That is why it is important to make the most of your lunch break and eat slowly and calmly. Cut your food into small pieces and try to chew more times than before. In this way you will deceive your brain, and hence your stomach, that you are eating the same amount of food.
Increase protein, reduce carbohydrates
No one tells you to completely give up your favorite bread, but buy whole grains and eat less of it. Increase your protein intake and all those green vegetables that are so useful. Emphasize the fish for lunch or dinner and get a nice green salad. You will definitely feel full.
Reduce alcohol
Alcohol is one of the main sources of calories. One bottle of beer of 500 ml has 250 kcal, and in one brandy (100 ml) - 230 kcal. So, when you sit at the table in the evening, give up your usual brandy and drink water while eating. Going out with friends? No problem! But… forget about beer. At least for a while. Lose weight after the holidaysand then you will be treated to a beer. It seems heavy - good. Drink a beer. The important thing is not to overdo it.
Train
Here we will not give you advice on what to train. Train what you like - football, basketball, running, aerobics. Sports a lot, the possibilities are innumerable. The important thing is to move. Of course, don't jump at breakneck speed. This will not help. Especially for those of you who have never trained. Start slowly and gain experience. Your body will only show when you are ready to increase the pace.
It would be best if we could practice restrictive diet and on holidays, but this is difficult to achieve. So follow the above tips and exercise for to regain your figure after the holidays.
