Full refrigerator and fresh products in it - this is the dream of every housewife. Often, however, this remains just a dream. Usually the situation is a little different - you know that you have everything you need for dinner, you plan exactly the time needed to prepare it, you open the refrigerator and you see that half of the products are no longer edible.

In order not to fall into such situations, there are some tricks you can use keep the products fresh for a longer time. Here's what to do to always have everything you need on hand:

1. The apple - the best friend of potatoes

Potatoes make it possible to prepare a huge variety of dishes and for this reason people buy in large quantities. To prevent them from spoiling, put an apple where you store them. It is important to separate them from all other fruits and vegetables. Only the apple can and should be with them.

2. Remove the tomatoes from the refrigerator

Probably your first job when you get home is to put them in there, but that's not right. They are juicy vegetables with a soft texture that do not respond well to cold. Leave them on the kitchen counter, somewhere where they won't bother you.

3. Use foil

If you are a fan of celery, you can keep it longer by wrapping it with aluminum foil. This way it will stay fresh for at least 2 weeks.

The foil will help you keep the bananas fresh longer. Do not separate them, but wrap the handles with foil.

4. Protect the mushrooms from moisture

The best way to do this is to store them in a paper bag. This will not allow them to get wet.

5. Proper care of the avocado

Useful fruit and a wonderful ingredient for various salads. If you plan to set aside, you should know that the heat makes the avocado ripen faster. To keep it fresher, leave it in the refrigerator.

6. Vinegar treatment of small red fruits

To protect blueberries, blackberries and strawberries from spoiling, before putting them in the refrigerator, wash them with a solution of 3 cups of water and 1 cup of vinegar. This will destroy the germs that roam around. They must be dry before storing them in the refrigerator.

7. Fight moisture in vegetables

Place towels or kitchen paper in the vegetable compartments in the refrigerator. In this way you will prevent the appearance of moisture, which otherwise contributes to the faster spoilage of vegetables.
