People who often eat food from plastic containers damage their kidneys, scientists from Taiwan are adamant. For their study, the specialists divided the volunteers into two separate groups. One group of participants ate soup from ceramic dishes, and the other group ate in plastic plates.

At the beginning of the study, all study participants gave urine for testing - before they started eating and two hours after they finished.

Three weeks later, participants in both groups again gave urine to check how their eating in plastic and ceramic plates had affected them. Scientists are adamant that eating in plastic containers is dangerous to human health.

Participants who ate food from ceramic dishes had twice as much melamine as those whose food was served in plastic plates.

Experts explain that melamine is used in the manufacture of plastic products. It is known to increase the risk of kidney stones.

Plastic products release a larger amount of this substance when there is hot food or food with high acidity in the plates, the scientists added.

In addition to the New Year and Christmas holidays, the topic of eating and drinking alcohol is very relevant. Despite the constant reminders from various experts in the field, Bulgarians celebrate the holidays with rich meals, laden with different types of food.

In addition to the many types of food, there are several types of alcoholic beverages on the table.

And if a generous meal will last only a few days on holidays and then people regain their normal rhythm, with the consumption of alcohol things can easily get out of control.

Experts say that a person can very easily become addicted to alcohol and the cup can become a daily companion. One of the most common signs that you have overdosed on alcohol is frequent visits to the toilet in the middle of the night.

In addition, excessive alcohol consumption is difficult to fall asleep - very often when drinking large amounts of alcohol, a person fails to fall asleep. And even if he manages to fall asleep easily, he doesn't feel refreshed in the morning.
