Ingredients: 14 dried peppers, 2 cups white beans, not very large, half a tablespoon of red pepper, 1 onion, 50 milliliters of oil, salt and pepper to taste, 1 pinch of mint.
The beans are soaked from the night before. In the morning, wash well and bring to a boil. The first water is poured out and again put to boil until soft. Finely chop the onion, fry lightly and add the red pepper, salt and pepper. Mix with the beans and mix well. Add mint. The peppers are soaked in hot water to swell. Fill with beans and arrange in a tray. Pour a glass of warm water and bake under a lid for 30-45 minutes.
Lean sarma
On Christmas Eve sarma are obligatory - with vine or cabbage leaves.
Necessary products: 20 cabbage leaves of sauerkraut or 40 vine leaves, a cup and a half of rice, 1 onion, 3 teaspoons of tomato paste, 60 milliliters of oil, salt and pepper to taste.
Finely chop the onion, fry lightly and add the rice. Add warm water - 2 cups and lightly stew the rice. Add the tomato puree, salt and pepper. The filling is placed in the leaves. If they are cabbage, the sauerkraut is made large, the vine sauerkraut can be very small. The vine leaves are made of two leaves. Arrange the cabbage leaves in a pan, cover with a lid and bake, and the vines are placed on a plate, covered with a plate and simmered for about 40 minutes.
Bean pate
Ripe bean pate is perfect dish for Christmas Eve. Three hundred grams of ripe beans are soaked from the previous evening, in the morning they are boiled, mashed and a little boiling water is added to make a puree. Season to taste with spices and sprinkle with finely chopped onions.
