The weather has cooled down and it's time to fill the fridge with delicious and nutritious food. Pumpkin is a great choice for the autumn-winter period. We can prepare it boiled, on a cake or just bake it with a little honey and cinnamon. Cooking roasted pumpkin is easy and relatively quick. The only unpleasant part of the recipe itself is the cleaning of the pumpkin.

However, you can arm yourself with patience and the right knife - choose one with a larger blade. First, wash the pumpkin well, because it will still be baked with the peel. In case it is too big, you will wash it after cutting it. Cut into several large pieces and start removing the seeds, which you can store and bake if you wish.

The well-cleaned pumpkin is cut into smaller pieces - in general, the dimensions are optional and by eye. Put baking paper in a suitable pan and arrange the pumpkin pieces next to each other. The oven must be preheated to 200 degrees. Put two tablespoons of honey on each piece of pumpkin - the amount of honey depends on how sweet you want it to be, you can put less.

Then sprinkle each piece with cinnamon, add some walnuts (finely chopped), add enough water to cover the bottom of the pan and wrap the pan with aluminum foil. Put in the oven and bake for about an hour, then remove the foil and bake the pieces.

We offer you another great recipe for pumpkin - for it you will need half a kilo of it, again honey, about 1-2 tablespoons, cinnamon to taste and a tablespoon of water. Mix the honey, water and cinnamon in a saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil, then remove from the heat.

Then spread the pre-cut and cleaned pieces of pumpkin. Spread the pieces on all sides - put the pan in the oven and bake for about 30 - 40 minutes at 250 degrees.

Once the pumpkin pieces are soft and slightly browned, the dessert is ready. It's a good idea to wait for the pumpkin to cool before eating both desserts, as this makes it tastier.
