New Year's table it is always richly packed. It is widely believed that as we welcome the new year, so will it be - rich, shiny and lavish. The next day, however, there are always leftover food that we don't know how to deal with. Here are some ideas on what to cook with leftovers from the New Year's table.
The most common leftovers after a sumptuous dinner are appetizers. All sausages, hams, cheeses, mushrooms, olives, tomatoes can be included in a non-standard soup recipe. To do this, put the sliced sausages in a saucepan with water and cook for 15 minutes.
You can also add mushrooms, tomatoes and any vegetables you have on hand to the leftovers. Pour the resulting mixture into a bowl and sprinkle with cheese and olives. This way you get a salad that can be eaten with a spoon.
Another good option with other appetizers is to make an easy pizza. Spread the dough, arrange the leftovers and you're done. Arranged in pots and sprinkled with cheese, the leftovers become an irresistible delicacy.

After New Year's Eve, there is a lot of bread left. No matter what form it is - toasted, fresh or slightly dried, cut the remaining slices into cubes. Put them in a bowl and sprinkle with paprika, salt, pepper, savory and olive oil. Stir gently. Line a small baking tray with parchment paper. Pour the pieces of bread into it. Put the pan in the oven and bake for 20 minutes at 170 degrees, preferably with a fan. This way you get wonderful and easy croutons to eat with pleasure.
For the upcoming holiday, everyone stocks up on a lot of fruits - tangerines, kiwis, oranges, bananas, apples and more. In order not to spoil in the days after the new year, it is best to cut them for fruit salad. Instead of cream, however, the New Year's spirit gives you the opportunity to pour them into two appetizing offerings: maple syrup or a little rum, then flambé. The result will inevitably delight your family.
If you have unnecessary meatballs left after dinner, you can prepare meatballs with sauce for variety. For this purpose you only need to prepare the sauce. It can be white, made of fried flour with spices or broth, or it can be tomato as a spaghetti sauce. Dip the meatballs in it and serve. Another option is to cut the sandwich meatballs.
If you have leftover chicken, they can be used for salads and for rolling sarma, and you can also prepare breaded places, croquettes, pizzas and more. The leftovers of vegetable and bean dishes can be successfully mashed and a delicious puree can be prepared. If you have large bones and fish heads, they can be used to make a broth to serve as a base for any vegetable soup.
