A weight is placed on the towel to help remove excess liquid from the tofu faster. After half an hour, the towel and the weight are removed.
In a bowl, mix the orange juice, vinegar, soy sauce, both types of fat, garlic, ginger and hot red pepper. Arrange the tofu triangles in a tray and pour over the marinade. Sprinkle with a mixture of parsley and green onions. Leave in the refrigerator for 6 hours.
Before cooking, part of the marinade is poured so that it covers the tofu triangles only halfway. Bake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees without turning. Tofu is ready when it turns golden and part of the marinade has evaporated.
Rice with asparagus and tofu is delicious and healthy.
Ingredients: 1 cup brown rice, 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 onion, a pinch of salt, 1 red pepper, 150 grams of mushrooms, 200 grams of tofu, 1 tablespoon flour, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 bunch asparagus.
Boil the rice for about 30 minutes, adding 2 cups of water to one cup of rice. Finely chop the onion and fry in olive oil, salting. Add the chopped pepper to the onion, add the chopped mushrooms and fry for seven minutes on high heat.
Wash the asparagus, remove the hard bottom and cut into three pieces. Add to the vegetables and simmer for 5 minutes. Tofu is cut into cubes and rolled in flour. Add to the vegetables and fry. Mix the vegetables with the tofu and rice and sprinkle with soy sauce.
