From the name it is immediately clear that this is Russian tea, and legend has it that it was named after a certain Ivan, who was often seen picking this type of dark pink herb, dressed in his reddish shirt. That's how tea got its name.

In fact, it is a narrow-leaved willow plant, in Latin Chamerion angustifolium, also called Kopor tea, because it is distributed in the village of Kopore near St. Petersburg.

The drink is very ancient and is the one that the Russians prepare in their samovars. It has been traditionally drunk by the Slavs in the north since the 13th century, when it was considered a drink that gave strength to men. This is true because Ivan tea is a strong herb in prostate therapy.

Today, this tea is widely known and sought after in Europe, so it occupies one of the leading positions in Russia's exports.
