Note: Corn syrup can be replaced with honey or glucose in a 1: 1 ratio.
Preparation:
1. In a medium bowl, mix together 1 teaspoon of powdered sugar, cornstarch, water, corn syrup and vanilla extract. A homogeneous mixture must be obtained;
2. Add the remaining 1/2 cup of powdered sugar to the mixture. It is then added to make it easier to mix;
3. The mixture is colored with the desired color. The mixture can be divided into 2-3 parts and colored with a different color;
4. The mixture is transferred to a post. If it is Wilton, use the N4 tip;
5. Place the baking paper on a flat surface. Thin and long and straight lines are made with a sword;
6. Allow to dry and harden for at least 12 hours;
7. After the lines are dried, they are peeled off the paper and with the help of a knife they are crushed and made to the desired size.
Can be stored well in an airtight container.
2. Sugar sticks with egg white
3 tsp powdered sugar
3 egg whites
vanilla or almond extract
food coloring
Preparation:
Like kissing, powdered sugar and egg whites are smashed in the snow. The aroma of vanilla, almond or optional is added. The mixture is colored and continued in the same way - spraying, drying, breaking.
