The first recipe we offer you is for Roquefort salad - at first glance a simple salad, which, however, becomes very tasty. Prepare it for your loved one for a special occasion. Here are the necessary products:
Green salad with Roquefort and croutons
Necessary products: bread, about 100 g Roquefort, 8 tbsp. cream, 2 pears, olive oil, wine vinegar, honey, lettuce.
Method of preparation: make croutons out of bread and bake them. Peel a pear and cut it into slices, then roast it in a grill pan. Before you put them in the pan, grease them with a little fat. The cheese is mashed and mixed with the cream.
Cut or chop the pre-washed lettuce and season it with the dressing, which you prepare from honey, vinegar and olive oil. Pour into a salad bowl, arrange pieces of pear on top and pour carefully with Roquefort sauce. Finally, sprinkle with toasted croutons.
Stuffed pears with Roquefort
Necessary products: 2 pears, 3 tbsp. brown sugar, 2 tbsp. honey, butter, cinnamon, 100 g Roquefort.
Method of preparation: the pears are cut in half and the core with the seeds is removed. Then in a separate bowl put a piece of butter, honey and sugar and leave the sauce to caramelize, then add the cinnamon and 2-3 tbsp. water.
In the sauce, while it is still on the stove, put the pears and let them soften and thicken the sauce accordingly. Melt the Roquefort in another pan on a hot plate. Once the pear sauce thickens, withdraw. Serve half a pear, pour Roquefort sauce in it and then honey sauce. Optionally, sprinkle with finely chopped nuts, such as walnuts.
Our next culinary offer with Roquefort is for mushroom salad. As it becomes quite heavy, you can also serve it as a side dish to a chicken steak, for example, grilled.
For the mushroom salad or garnish you will need about 500 g of mushrooms, lemon juice, 4 tbsp. cream, olive oil, 100 g Roquefort, black pepper, ½ head red onion, vinegar.
First, peel the mushrooms and cut them into small pieces - squeeze a lemon on them. Allow the mushrooms to soften from the lemon and during this time mix the cream and Roquefort cheese in a bowl.
Add finely chopped onion, vinegar and olive oil. Finally, pour everything over the mushrooms and stir. Sprinkle generously with finely ground walnuts on top if desired.
