A man cooked the cat of one of his neighbors in the yard of his house in Adernach, Rhineland-Palatinate, Bild newspaper writes.

About a month ago, a worried woman reported to local police that she had seen her Asian neighbor, Tran K., prepare a cat's body for roasting. According to the police officer, the gentleman with a Vietnamese name most unceremoniously burned the helpless writing on his grill.

The neighbor of the rabid cat-eater was terribly worried about what was happening in the area and decided to notify the police.

Almost thirty cats have suddenly disappeared in our area.

I am already afraid of my Kather Billy and that is why I do not allow him to walk alone outside the house, shares the frightened Kristina Sarvatka.

However, Sarvatka's complaint did not end the charges against Tran K. A week later, the police again received a signal for a feast with a cat. A police spokeswoman said the incident was caused by a small misunderstanding. It turns out that Mr. Tran K. allowed himself to eat kittens, as he did not assume that such actions were forbidden in Germany.

Under animal protection law, if someone intentionally kills an animal without a logical reason, he could face up to three years in prison. The Asian can be punished for another reason - the consumption of cat is contrary to the law of hygiene of food of animal origin.

According to law enforcement officials, the sinful cat-eater of Vietnamese origin confessed everything during the interrogation and swore that no cat meat would be found on his plate from now on.

And although Tran K.'s act seems cruel, some tend to exonerate him. However, in Vietnam, dog and cat meat are a delicacy. According to many Vietnamese, eating cat meat can bring good luck.

In fact, cat meat is banned for consumption even in Vietnam. This measure was taken there because the authorities are trying to keep the number of cats, because they are needed so that the mouse population does not increase dramatically.
