A statue of Jesus was stolen from a diner in the United States - the owners of their restaurant want it back, promising the one who brought it to receive a free soup.
The statue is about a meter high and depicts Joseph with the little Jesus in his arms. She disappeared on July 20, explained the management of the restaurant - until then the statue stood in the corner of the diner. The administration also promises that whoever decides to return it will not be interrogated or harassed at all because he stole it - on the contrary, he will be treated to hot soup.
This decision was made by the head of the small restaurant Adrien Marchetti. Although the statue is made of plaster and doesn't really cost much, Marchetti explains that he and all the staff hold on to it and like it. According to them, this statue of baby Jesus brings good luck to the diner - it has been standing there for six years.
Marchetti hopes that in fact the client, who turned out to be too tidy and who folded the statue, did not do it to steal it, but to repair it. It turns out that Joseph's head was almost broken.
In Brazil, thieves stole the medal of a football player from the national team, reports the newspaper O Globo. But then her medal was returned. The comedy took place in Sao Paulo, where football player Tamires Brito was attacked by two men, who squeezed her handbag. The star's award was in it - the medal was won during the Pan American Games, which took place in Canada a few days ago.
After the incident, the football player angrily shared that while in Canada houses have no doors and people live in complete peace, in Brazil citizens must live in prisons so as not to be afraid.
After the football player appeared in the media, the thieves decided that it was better to return the medal to her - they left it discreetly under the door of the house of one of her neighbors. Of course, this is all that the Apaches considered necessary to return to the football player - the bag was missing, but Brito is still happy that they returned the award, which is especially dear to her.
