A restaurant in China uses robots instead of humans. The Chinese restaurant is located in Kunshan City, Yangtze Province and offers dishes that are emblematic of the area.
The owner of the restaurant has solved the problem with the leave and the payment of salaries by replacing most of the staff with robots.
The robots take on the role of cooks and waiters - the machines not only prepare the food, but also serve it to the customers of the restaurant. There are two robots in the kitchen, and their work is divided - one is busy frying, and the other's job is to prepare ravioli and different kinds of stuffing.
There are also several people in the restaurant who take care of filling the kitchen with the necessary products and preparing the special dishes that the restaurant offers.
Some of the electromechanical creatures greet and greet customers and then accompany them to the tables. Meanwhile, the other robots are busy with the dishes in the kitchen. The robots that serve the dishes move on roller skates.
According to the owner of the Chinese restaurant Song Yugang, the machines are just as dexterous and fast as professional chefs. In addition, robots understand human speech - Yugang says they avoid wide-ranging discussions, but they do more than well on food.
The owner also points out that customer service happens almost without errors. Yugang is particularly happy to have such employees, mostly because Android robots don't want to go on vacation, get paid or get sick.
Yugang says that each robot cost him a little less than 5,000 euros, which is the approximate salary per person per year. The customers of the restaurant are fascinated by the idea of the owner and he shares that since last year (since he replaced people with robots), his work has not decreased at all.
What the machines need is two hours of rest a day to be able to charge, after which they start working and work flawlessly for five hours.
