Sunday Toast brewers in Wales have created a new type of beer. It is a dark Christmas beer with a new purpose - "liquid lunch". This is a beer with a taste of roast lamb.

The innovation is the work of the Welsh manufacturer Conway Brewery. It is the first in the production of seasonal beers. This Christmas, they wanted to give their consumers something really different, while honoring one of Wales' most famous export products. Necessary products: 250 g cheddar cheese (Parmesan, Emmental or yellow cheese), 50 g flour, 50 g butter, 250 ml strong beer, 2 tbsp. mustard, 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce, 1⁄2 tsp. black pepper, 4 slices of bread.

Preparation: Melt the butter and fry the flour in it, stirring constantly to prevent burning. When it becomes slightly golden, pour the beer and leave it on the fire until most of the liquid boils and a thick sauce is obtained.

Add the pre-grated cheese and mix until a thick paste is obtained. Season with Worcestershire sauce, mustard and black pepper.

The slices of bread are lightly toasted, spread with butter and spread generously with the resulting paste. The sandwich prepared in this way is grilled for a few minutes until it acquires a dark golden tan and the cheese starts to boil and form bubbles.
