Cold soup for hot days
Necessary products: 1 kg tomatoes, 1 cucumber, 1 liter beef broth, 2 tablespoons rice, 150 ml cream, salt and pepper to taste
Method of preparation: Boiled and peeled tomatoes are boiled briefly with 1/2 tsp water and mashed. Pour the broth, boil again and add the rice. Boil until soft, add cream and season with salt and pepper. When the soup cools completely, add the peeled and sliced cucumber. Garnish with fresh spices of your choice.
Apple salad with onions
Necessary products: 3 onions, 2 apples (more sour), 1 boiled mashed potato, a few stalks of finely chopped dill and parsley, 150 mg of mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste, a handful of crushed walnuts
Method of preparation: In a bowl, mix the thinly sliced onion, which is pre-mashed with a little salt, sliced apples and potatoes. Season the fresh spices, add black pepper and a little more salt and mix everything. Pour mayonnaise over the salad and serve sprinkled with walnuts.
Carp, prepared according to an old recipe from Krakow
Necessary products: 1 medium carp, 5 onions, 1 garlic clove, 2 tablespoons raisins, 150 mg crushed almonds, salt and pepper to taste, 7- 8 tablespoons oil
Method of preparation: The carp is washed, drained, cut into large pieces (so that its shape can be restored), salted, seasoned with black pepper and left to stand for 12 hours.
In about 1 liter of water put the chopped onion, garlic, raisins, almonds and oil. The liquid is boiled and after about 20 minutes the fish is added to it to boil for 30 minutes. Then it is taken out, drained and arranged in a plate, observing the shape of the fish.
Strain the sauce, boil for a few more minutes and pour it over the fish. You can decorate the carp with carrot slices.
