Jim Koch is one of the founders of the Boston Beer beer company. Koch struck a group of journalists at a party with his resistance to alcohol. He drank a large amount of hard alcohol, but left visibly sober.

Journalists were stunned by what they witnessed and immediately sought an answer to the question why he did not get drunk. The brewer explained that the reason the alcohol did not affect him lay in the yeast.

In order not to get drunk, Koch advises to eat a spoonful of yeast before each party. Of course, if you find its taste too unpleasant, as is the case with Koch, you can mix it with a little yogurt.

In this way the taste of the yeast will be neutralized and you will be able to swallow it, and on the other hand you will not fall into awkward situations at the party if you overdo it with drinks.

The reason yeast works in this way is one of the ingredients it contains - alcohol dehydrogenase. This ingredient has the ability to neutralize the alcohol tested before it reaches the brain.

Jim Koch, however, warns anyone who decides to try this option to be careful. Yeast cannot be a guarantee that you will not get drunk, especially after a large amount of alcohol testing. Rather, the product may reduce the effects of ingested alcohol.

If you still can't imagine swallowing yeast before you start drinking, there is another way. Only 125 g of honey can help a drunk person sober up, says Danish scientist Larsen. According to him, honey should be given to drunkards twice, and there should be an interval of half an hour between them.

The scientist is convinced that this will cause sobriety. He explains that the high content of fructose in honey will neutralize the effect of ingested alcohol.

And if you do not believe in this option - American and Australian scientists have come up with an even easier way to neutralize the effects of alcohol.

Experts have developed a pill that neutralizes the effects of alcohol tests. The invention was tested on mice.
