Method of preparation:
Saute the finely chopped onion, as well as some of the tomatoes in half the fat. Stew them for a long time until only the fat remains. Peel the potatoes, wash them and cut them into circles or cubes as you prefer. In a suitable tray, arrange tomato rings and potato rings on them, making sure they are close together. Put the minced meat on top, then potatoes again, followed by tomatoes.
Fill everything with water and bake in the oven. When moussaka is ready, pour the well-known mixture of egg, milk, flour and salt. Sprinkle with grated yellow cheese on top and return the dish to the oven to bake.
