- Medlars picked from trees are stored in cassettes in layers, but softer fruits that are prone to mold should be consumed immediately. Another option for storing the fruit for a longer period of time is by sterilizing it with sugar for about 50-60 minutes;
- You can use medlars to prepare a number of pastries and savory dishes and even for drinks.
