Sauer (Sour) is a cocktail that is mixed with alcohol, lemon juice, powdered sugar and egg white. Its name comes from English and translates as sour. Because of the lemon, the cocktail really has a slightly sour taste.

When made with bourbon, the cocktail is sweeter than with whiskey. The necessary ingredients are 50 milliliters of bourbon, 30 milliliters of freshly squeezed lemon juice and 30 milliliters of sugar syrup.
