Years ago, our grandparents ate only organic food. This was mainly due to the fact that this food went only the way from the garden to the table. Today this road can reach 50 thousand kilometers. This, of course, is not healthy at all. During long journeys, food releases high levels of carbon dioxide, especially when delivered by plane.

The long journey that food takes to reach our table drastically lowers the amount of food. Their appearance deteriorates and in order to be improved, a number of chemicals harmful to the human body are used in them. And after going through all possible resellers, in the end, the minimum profit remains for the manufacturer, and for the buyer - the useless product.

The problem with food quality is global. Therefore, a number of specialists have long been looking for ways to deal with it. One of the best alternatives is micro-farming. It is currently widely used only in England.

Micro-farming is a way to meet the identified needs of the people of the neighboring region with environmentally friendly products. This way they will not be contaminated during transportation and can be purchased directly from the respective producer of fruits, vegetables, meat, milk, eggs and others.

The main consequence of the application of micro-farming is clean food. It is also cheaper than organic food in the store. It has been proven to provide clean food within a radius of 30 km.

In micro-farming, the producer can afford to treat the production with natural fertilizers, but without pesticides. In addition, they are often picked on the day they are delivered. Also, this type of production gives the opportunity to change the places where vegetables are grown, as required by natural vegetable production.

Of course, similar local farming has its drawbacks. With it, the customer can only rely on seasonal vegetables. The fact is, however, that it is thousands of times healthier than the traditional ways to get it from the store - fruits and vegetables of unclear origin and quality.
