- Milk soup with carrots and brown rice - Peel 2 carrots and cut into cubes and put them in a saucepan with a little water and butter, leave the soup on low heat to boil. Pour 2 tsp.fresh milk and add 50 g of rice, cook for about 30 minutes, salt to taste.
- For diabetics you can also cook pilaf with brown rice. The only condition is that the meat is low in fat. The best combination for pilaf is chicken fillet, brown rice and carrots.
- Fish meatballs with brown rice - take low-fat fish fillets, grind them through a meat grinder together with onions. Add soaked crusts of bread with water, 2 eggs and salt to taste. Separately, boil brown rice and mix with the minced fish. Form meatballs, roll in breadcrumbs and fry in a pan with oil. If you wish, you can stew them in tomato sauce.
