For cough we will need 500 ml of water, fresh ginger, a pinch of cardamom, a pinch of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of green tea powder, honey and lemon to taste. Boil water, put green tea in it for 5 minutes, strain, pour into a stainless steel pot, add cardamom, grated ginger, cinnamon and cloves.

Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Add slices of lemon and honey. Boil on low heat for another 5 minutes. Leave to stand for 15 minutes, strain and add fresh mint.

Ginger is also useful in depression. In 1.2 liters of boiling water add 5 tablespoons of grated ginger, honey to taste and stir. Strain through a sieve, add a pinch of red pepper and 4 tablespoons of citrus juice. Drink hot.
