Nettle is among those leafy vegetables that are extremely rich in iron, many vitamins and a bunch of other nutrients. Experts recommend its regular consumption, as it is even widely used in pharmacy and serves to prevent and treat a number of health problems.
However, many housewives, especially the inexperienced, ask themselves how to collect nettles so that it does not scald them, how to choose it and last but not least how and what to cook with nettles. That is why here we will try to answer all such questions:

- When the nettle is washed, it is blanched for 4-5 minutes, then drained again. After blanching it, you can safely touch the petals without the risk of them scalding you;
- In practice with nettle you can prepare absolutely anything, but most often it is used to make nettle soups and nettle stews. You can make nettle meatballs, scrambled eggs with nettles and all kinds of garnishes that will suit both lean and meat dishes;
- Consumption of nettle, in whatever form, works extremely well to regulate the activity of the digestive system, strengthens the immune system and is used as a prophylactic for problems with the bile and liver.
