Another option is to bet on Japan - the nation that thrives thanks to the high quality and thorough preparation of food for every meal. Or maybe Thailand or Vietnam, Singapore or Peru - each of which would be a good choice for food lovers.

But all of the above are not even close to the best place for gourmets in the world. While in almost every city in the world you can find Italian, French and Japanese restaurants, to experience the culinary splendor of this country, you must visit it. This is about Spain.

Spain is a place where everyone takes care of the food, but no one makes too much noise about it. This is the home of paella, but even it is not the most preferred delicacy.

Five of the top 20 restaurants in the world are in Spain, including number one - El Celler de Can Roca. For comparison, France is represented by 2, and Italy - only 1 restaurant.

The Spaniards definitely understand food and in each of the regions of the country you can try different delicacies.
