For Bulgaria and the Balkans, cow's milk is the most common, but it can also be found in stores for buffalo, goat, sheep, etc. However, there is also other milks, which are produced by a different technology, which is why we will call them special milks.

In most cases, they are not inferior in quality to the milk we are used to consuming, but there are some significant differences. Here are some of the special milks and a brief description of them:

It is used in countries where milk storage is more difficult or used for areas with poor transport links. Condensed milk is very thick and must be diluted with water to make it look like regular milk.

2. Vitaminized milk

To this species milk additional vitamins are added and their consumption by pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, as well as by patients with rickets is recommended.

5. Humanized milk

These are actually baby milk powders, which aim to bring the milk as close as possible to breast milk. A complete substitute for breast milk is not yet known, but modern humanized milks can replace breast milk well if the mother does not have it.
