Corn is very tasty and nutritious and is suitable for salads, soups and dishes, as well as for direct consumption.

It is important to cook it properly so that it does not lose its nutrients, and at the same time has a pleasant taste that you and your loved ones can enjoy.

You can boil corn in two ways - on cobs or grains. Both cooking methods have their advantages in terms of taste and serving.

Corn becomes very tasty when cooked on cobs. You can boil the cobs whole or pre-cut them in half - it all depends on how you want to serve them.

When cut in half in advance, corn cobs are more convenient to serve as a side dish. When whole, they are a favorite delicacy of children and adults - you just need to sprinkle with salt and eat.

To boil the cobs of corn, first clean them from the leaves and from the so-called hair - the long yellow threads. Then arrange the cobs close together to fit more, fill them with water so that it covers them completely, and cover them with a few of the leaves.

Covering with leaves guarantees a richer taste of corn.

Place a plate on top to hold them in place, cover with a lid and place on the hob. Cook for about half an hour until the beans are soft. If the corn is dairy, it will take no more than 15-20 minutes to cook.

Serve warm. You can grease the cobs with a little oil before sprinkling with salt. The halves of the cobs are a good garnish for roast meat, they are also suitable for complementing vegetable dishes.

You can also boil corn into grains. To do this, roll the beans from the cob and put them in boiling salted water. Cook for about 15-20 minutes until softened. Remove the beans with a slotted spoon to drain the water.

You can then serve the corn with butter, dill and salt as a side dish to meat or fish dishes or simply as a hors d'oeuvre.

Cooked corn kernels can also be used to complement salads, meat dishes, vegetable dishes and delicious soups.
