An American company has developed a pizza sauce that contains 300 milligrams of marijuana. The unusual sauce is already on the US market and sells for $ 20.
The authors of the sauce themselves say that the combination of marijuana and sauce is well developed so that your pizza does not taste like grass.
According to experts, the sauce is an alternative for medical marijuana users who do not like cannabis cakes.
"The amount is enough for one big or two smaller pizzas, and after the third slice you are completely under the influence of drugs," said Steve Thomas, vice president of the manufacturer.
The new pizza sauce on the market is called Podey Pizza, and customers can only buy it if they provide retailers with a prescription from a doctor that allows them to use the drug.
The first batch of marijuana sauce is already in stores. The sauce is intended for pizza, as three pieces of cannabis are advertised as sufficient for one healing procedure.
In some US states, the use of marijuana is allowed, so the sale of the unusual sauce is not hindered by the authorities. The use of marijuana is only permitted for medical purposes.
The specialist specified that the company has been developing the recipe for the sauce for a long time. "We had to work on the taste so that it doesn't look like grass," the team said.
The technologists promise that the effect of topping will be felt even by overweight people. Before it was put on sale by the company, they conducted a series of experiments with the sauce.
We made at least 150-200 trial pizzas. We even advertised for volunteer tasters to help us determine the exact amount of cannabis per serving,”said the company that produced the sauce.
Podey Pizza is the first sauce to contain marijuana. Ready-made pizza with marijuana has so far been available only in specialized cafes and restaurants.
In November, the Cannafest takes place every year in Prague, during which you can try marijuana dishes and clothes with hemp threads.
