Follow this recipe and for dinner you will serve your family a really delicious Italian pizza.
Dough products:
flour type 500 - 1/2 kg
May -10
salt -2 tsp
oregano -1/2 tsp
milk - 2 tbsp.
yolk - 1 pc.
olive oil - 2 tbsp.
water - 250 ml.
sauce:
peeled canned tomatoes
spices: salt, pepper, basil, oregano
Garnish:
mozzarella cheese
fresh mushrooms
ham (or other meat of your choice)
Preparing the pizza dough:
In a deep bowl, place the flour, yeast, salt and oregano. Add the milk, egg yolk and olive oil. Gradually add the water, stirring constantly. Knead the dough until it begins to separate from the walls of the dish and from the hands (5-7 minutes). Cover the dish with a towel and leave for 2-3 hours at room temperature. During this time, the dough will double in volume.
Preparation of pizza sauce:
Do not use fresh tomatoes or ketchup. To prepare the sauce, mash canned peeled tomatoes and season with salt, pepper, fresh basil and oregano. You can use homemade tomato sauce instead of canned tomatoes.
Arrange the pizza
Grease the bottom and walls of the baking tray with a little oil. Take part of the dough in the shape of a ball, place it directly in the center of the pan. Squeeze the dough lightly with your fingers and spread it from the center to the walls of the pan.
Important: You should get a thin crust. Although the ingredients are provided for 2 pizzas, depending on the size of the pan, you may need to use less dough.
A major initial mistake in making pizza is adding an mind-boggling amount of ingredients. Here the rule is that the less - the more, ie. you need to use fewer ingredients. Otherwise the dough will not be able to bake and will be sticky.
Spread the dough with the tomato sauce. The layer must be transparent. Spread pieces of mozzarella on top of the sauce. At the end of the pizza, distribute the fresh mushrooms and meat of your choice (ham, sausage, etc.). Once again - do not overdo the ingredients!
The oven must be preheated to maximum temperature with the upper and lower racks switched on. Place the pizza to bake. Baking time is 5-10 minutes. You will know that the pizza is ready when the dough gets a golden color.
After removing it, put a few fresh basil leaves on top. Enjoy your meal!
