Czech, Polish, Turkish and Italian honey producers will participate in the Bulgarian culinary exhibition Pchelomania, which will be organized by the Dobrich Fair.

From March 20 to 22, 45 companies will present their honey, and the fair will be attended by traders and producers from England and Greece, who, along with Bulgarian producers, will present their sweet goods.

In addition to bee products, the exhibition will also feature equipment, veterinary drugs, fruit and planting material, flowers and specialized literature.

The organizers of the event added that the traditional children's exhibition "Honey - the sweet gold of Dobrogea" will be opened at the exhibition, and the authors of the drawings and their teachers will be awarded.

Plovdiv also attracts foreign producers, as the city under the hills is currently organizing Winery 2014, because of which many French winemakers came to our country.

The French wine masters will compete with the domestic producers in the competition, as for the first year the Bulgarian representatives of wines are less than the foreign ones.

51 wine producers took part in the competition, 37 of them coming from France, Italy, the Czech Republic, Macedonia and Moldova.

The wines in the competition will be tested both with a special computer system and by a 20-member jury, which includes 12 wine experts.

Professional tasters are journalists, sommelier and traders from the Czech Republic, USA, Korea, Poland, Italy, Israel, Romania, Turkey, Benelux, Greece, Switzerland and Germany.

"To ensure the independence and objectivity of the assessments, we use a computer system. Only a few competitions in the world are organized in this way, "said the chairman of the National Vine and Wine Chamber Radoslav Radev.

The competition for the Golden Rhyton prize is the most prestigious Bulgarian wine award. It is divided into 6 categories, including young and old white, red and rosé wines.

In parallel with the competition, the traditional national tastings of wines, brandies and wine brands are held.
