Sarmi is a suitable dish for spring and winter. They can be prepared with or without meat, lean or only with eggs, with bacon if they are cabbage, and with minced meat if they are vine.

Sarma, however, can be prepared with leaves other than our familiar vine and cabbage. In fact, very tasty sarma is also made from linden leaves, beets, dock, and spinach. Here are some interesting spring recipes for sarma.

Necessary products: vine leaves, 60 g lentils, 200 g rice, a bunch of green onions, 2 bunches of parsley, ½ a bunch of mint, 5 potatoes, 3 tomatoes, 1 lemon, olive oil, black pepper, salt

Method of preparation: you must first soak the lens for a few hours. Then chop onions, mint, parsley, tomatoes and mix together with rice and lentils. Fry everything and pour 1 teaspoon of water to swell.

Add the spices. Grate the potatoes and add to the stuffing along with the lemon juice. Once the rice "swallows" the water, remove from the heat and start filling the sarma. Arrange in a saucepan and add water and cook until done.

Necessary products: 250 g minced meat, 3 chicken livers, 120 g mushrooms, egg, green onion, 1 tsp rice, ½ a bunch of parsley, black pepper and salt to taste, fat, beet leaves, 1 tsp red pepper

Method of preparation: chop onions and mushrooms and stew them in the fat. Once softened, add the finely chopped liver and also the rice. After the rice is fried, add the minced meat and spices and stir, add the egg and parsley.
