- When you have already got the lamb, it is mandatory to wash it with cold water. Allow it to drain from the water for a few hours, after which you can proceed to its treatment;
- Most people don't like it very much the specific flavor of lamb. If you fall into this category, we recommend that you let the lamb stand for 24 hours abundantly drizzled with brandy. It removes its characteristic odor. Before baking, be sure to discard the liquid;
- The best way to roast lamb is to pre-grease it (marinate the lamb) with a mixture of fat (oil, olive oil, melted butter or other fat of your choice), red and black pepper, salt and mustard. Keep in mind that mustard is also salty;
- Optionally, you can add ground bay leaf to the marinade mixture, as well as a little honey. It's a matter of preference.
"No matter what you're with." seasoned the lamb, be sure to leave it with the spices for at least 5-6 hours in the cold;
- When all the spices have already "taken" in the lamb, it is ready for roasting. Put it in a suitable tray. You need to add water or broth to it. The amount of liquid depends on the amount of lamb you are going to roast. It is important to take into account the fact that to make the lamb roast well, it should be bake over low heat. This means that you will bake it for a few hours and it must have enough liquid (at least 1 cm) so that it does not burn;
- Instead of water or broth you can roast lamb with beer. This is how it tastes best;
- The lamb is roasted in a tray with a lid. If you do not have one, then cover the tray with aluminum foil;
- The lamb is placed in a preheated oven at about 180-200 degrees. After about 30-40 minutes, reduce the oven to 150-160 degrees;
- The time of roasting the lamb depends a lot on the temperature that maintains your oven, but if the lamb is really baked at 150 degrees, it would take about 5-6 hours;
- During roasting, pour the sauce over the meat to make it more fragrant;
