Pepper salad with orzo
Necessary products: 3 large whole peppers, 1/3 cup grated onion, 1 cup boiled corn, 1/3 cup chopped green olives, ½ cup tuna in olive oil, drained, 1-1 / 2 tbsp. chopped parsley, 2/3 cup orzo, 4 tbsp. olive oil, 2 1/2 tbsp. wine vinegar, chopped lettuce or parsley leaves

Orzo with tomatoes and ham
Necessary products: 1/2 kg orzo pasta, 2 onions, 3 tomatoes, 1 green pepper, 3 cloves garlic, 100 g ham, 2 stalks of celery, 100 g feta cheese, 3 tbsp. olive oil, black pepper, salt
Method of preparation: Finely chop the celery and onion. The garlic is pressed and the pepper is cut into small cubes. Put the products in a pan with olive oil and stew until soft. Remove from the heat and add the grated tomatoes and pasta. The products are mixed well and seasoned with salt and pepper. Transfer to a pan and pour a little water until it covers the paste. When the pasta is ready and all the water has boiled, the dish is sprinkled with diced ham and crushed feta cheese. Bake for a few minutes. The pasta is served hot.
Chicken with orzo
Necessary products: 220 g orzo paste, 1.5 kg chicken, 2 cloves garlic, 2 tbsp. olive oil, 1 onion, 1 celery, 500 ml chicken broth, 800 g canned tomatoes, 2 bay leaves, 2 tsp. grated lemon peel, salt, 1 tbsp. finely chopped parsley, 1 tbsp. finely chopped oregano, 80 g pitted black olives
Method of preparation: The chicken is washed well and wiped. His legs are tied together and placed in an oiled pan. Spread with a mixture of crushed garlic and 1 tbsp. olive oil. Bake at 180-190 degrees for about 1 hour.
During this time, heat 1 tbsp in a pan. olive oil. Fry the coarsely chopped onion in it until soft, stirring constantly. Peeled and grated celery is added to it. Cook for 5 minutes, then pour the chicken broth. Add the tomatoes, along with the juice, bay leaves, grated lemon peel and orzo paste. When it boils, the fire decreases. Cook for another 10 minutes, stirring often.
The result is salted to taste and poured into the pan with the chicken. The delicious dish with orzo return to the oven and bake for another 30 minutes. Before serving, sprinkle with oregano, parsley and olives.
