Greek stew with onions and olives
Necessary products: 1/2 kg onion, 4-5 cloves garlic, 3-4 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp. flour, 1 tsp. red pepper, a few grains of black pepper, 1 1/2 cups water, 1 tbsp. tomato sauce, 20 pitted green olives, salt and basil to taste
Method of preparation: Cut the onion into crescents and sauté in olive oil together with the sliced garlic. Once everything is soft, reduce the heat and fry the flour. Sprinkle with red pepper and immediately pour the water so as not to burn the pepper. Tomato sauce, black peppercorns and sliced olives are added to the sauce thus obtained. It is salted. When everything is ready, sprinkle with fresh basil.
Zucchini stew according to a Serbian recipe

Necessary products: 1 kg zucchini, 4 tbsp. olive oil, 1 onion, 1 carrot (optional) 1 garlic, a few sprigs of parsley, 1 tbsp. flour, 3 tbsp vinegar, salt and pepper to taste
Method of preparation: Peel a squash, grate it and cut it into oblong slices. Sprinkle with salt and leave for about 30 minutes to drain the water. Fry on both sides with olive oil and place on kitchen paper to drain the fat. Fry the finely chopped onion in the same fat. Cut the zucchini into strips, add to the onion, together with the chopped garlic cloves and add 2-3 cups of water. After all the products soften, add the flour diluted with vinegar and boil the dish over low heat until the sauce thickens. Add salt and pepper to taste and sprinkle with finely chopped parsley.
Asian beef stew
Necessary products: 700 g chopped beef, 2 tbsp. oil, 3 tbsp. flour, 470 g canned tomatoes, 2 onions, a pinch of black pepper, 75 g apple cider vinegar, 110 g honey, 250 ml beef broth, 3 sliced carrots, 75 g raisins, 2 g peeled and grated ginger, salt of taste
Method of preparation: The meat is fried in fat over high heat. Add the flour mixed in the tomatoes, the sliced onion, salt and pepper to taste. Stir everything and reduce the heat. In a bowl, mix the honey, vinegar and beef broth and add to the stew. Put everything in a pan and let it simmer under foil in the oven. After about 2 hours, add the carrots, raisins and ginger to the dish and leave in the oven for about another 30 minutes until the carrots soften.
