The Helicobacter pylori parasitic bacterium is in the form of a spiral containing the enzyme urease, which produces ammonia and neutralizes stomach acids, allowing the bacteria to grow in the gastric mucosa or the epithelial membrane of the stomach, thus causing inflammation.

There are about 29 different strains of Helicobacter pylori that exist. It is estimated that 50 percent of the world's population is infected with this bacterium through contaminated food, water or intimate contact (kissing). According to research, turmeric, licorice, thyme, oregano and last but not least garlic and onions can significantly reduce the effects of Helicobacter pylori.

Oregano oil. After a 14-day course of treatment with oregano oil in three of the four observed, the treatment gave a positive result against Helicobacter pylori bacteria. Oregano oil has been shown to kill Helicobacter pylori, a causative factor in 90 percent of stomach ulcers. Clinical research shows that it is quite effective for ulcers of the stomach and duodenum.

Thyme. Aqueous and ethyl extracts of thyme are beneficial for the inhibition of Helicobacter pylori. As the aqueous extract of thyme is easier to prepare and use (in the form of tea), it has been further studied. It turns out that thyme extract has therapeutic potential by reducing the growth of Helicobacter pylori and has antibacterial action.

Turmeric. It is a key element in turmeric powder. From the studies made, it was concluded that it has anti-Helicobacter pylori action. Turmeric has powerful immunostimulatory properties, and N-acetylcysteine and lactoferrin, with their mucolytic and antibacterial properties, respectively, may be effective in Helicobacter pylori therapy. Turmeric has been found to act against 19 different strains of Helicobacter pylori.

Garlic
Garlic

Licorice. The action of this herb is unique and helps with 29 of the strains of Helicobacter pylori. In addition, the herb has a beneficial effect on peptic ulcer.

Garlic and onions. Garlic and onion juices have antibacterial action. Historically, garlic has been used worldwide to fight bacterial infections. Garlic is also used as a broad-spectrum antibiotic against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.

Raw garlic juice is effective against many common pathogenic bacteria - intestinal bacteria that are responsible for diarrhea in humans and animals. Garlic is effective even against those bacteria that have become resistant strains from the use of antibiotics.

Helicobacter pylori is a bacterium that is involved in the etiology of stomach cancer and ulcers. Scientists have found that Helicobacter pylori is susceptible to garlic extract, even at fairly moderate concentrations.
