Many people want to try to be at least once make your own beer. This can be easily done if you have grains - wheat, barley or rye, hops, brewer's yeast.
First you need to prepare the beans. What they will be - rye, barley or wheat - depends only on your preferences. You can mix rye with oats.
Once the beans are selected, they are placed in a deep bowl and flooded with cold water. You have to wait a few days until they germinate, pour the excess water out of the pot and get the base for your homemade beer.
Then add water to the sprouted beans. Boil water, cool it to sixty degrees and add it to the beans. Stir well, cover with a lid and simmer for a few hours.
Add to the stove and hops. Then cool the resulting liquid and leave it uncovered to saturate with oxygen. Strain.
Add brewer's yeast - it helps make beer a beer, as it turns it into an alcoholic beverage. The fermentation time is about two weeks.
In the first week you need to provide a place for your beerwhere it is not exposed to more than fifteen degrees.
In the second week it is good to pour the beer into a wooden barrel. But not everyone has a barrel at home, so you can make the process easier and simpler.
For this you will need 2.5 kilograms of sprouted beans, 5 liters of water, 3 cups of hops, half a teaspoon of salt, 50 grams of dry brewer's yeast and 100 milliliters of sugar syrup. It is made from 100 milliliters of water and 50 grams of sugar, which are boiled until the syrup thickens.
The beans are mixed with water, boiled for about two hours and hops are added. Boil for another half hour, strain and cool to 40 degrees.
Add brewer's yeast, salt and sugar syrup, stir and leave to cool for five hours. Pour beer in bottles and leave without caps, and after a day put the caps. After two days your homemade beer can be drunk.
