An employee of the fast food chain McDonald's in the American city of Pittsburgh was arrested on charges of selling children's menus that contained heroin.
Shanaya Dennis, 26, sold heroin to people addicted to the drug by placing it in a book bag with the chain's children's menu.
People who came to Shanaya to buy drugs used the code phrase "I want a toy."
Then the customers handed over the money and in return received a menu in which they found a drug together with the toy.
The young woman was detained by a police officer who worked undercover and to whom she sold heroin for $ 80.
When buying, Shanaya asked for $ 82, 2 of which she put in the cash register, and hid the rest in her underwear.
A search of the fast food chain turned up 10 children's menus containing heroin.
The 26-year-old woman was also searched and another 50 doses of the drug were found in her possession.
Parents who regularly take their children to the institution in question are outraged. They wonder how it is possible to use the children's menu for such trade and wonder what would have happened if Shanaya had given them from the "special menu" by mistake.
2 charges have been filed against Shanaya Denis. The first is about drug possession, and the second is about drug distribution.
Authorities are still investigating because they believe it is a large drug trafficking network in western Pennsylvania.
Earlier this month, a McDonald's worker in the nearby town of Marysville, near Pittsburgh, was arrested for heroin trafficking.
Theodor Upschau was also arrested for selling heroin during working hours. Law enforcement is investigating whether there is a connection between the two dealers.
Upschau also distributed and sold his doses only in the food chain.
Police officers continue to search other McDonald's restaurants in the area.
The fast food chain, on the other hand, promised tighter control among its employees.
