Growing a matchmaker
Lungwort is an easy to grow ground cover plant. Tiny flowers appear on short stems in late spring or summer. The counterpart grows on any soil. It grows well on loose, rich and drained garden soil. Prefers sun or partial shade and does not tolerate excessive moisture.
By autumn, the long shoots die off and a wintering rosette remains. Under adverse conditions, the striker can be stored for a long time in the form of a rosette and stop the formation of long shoots. Nutrition, moderate watering and the need to control the growth exhaust the care of this interesting and unpretentious plant.
Very often the sedge is used as a ground cover plant - usually on larger and shady areas - on slopes, in curbs, between stones and pavements, around trees. Can be used in large rock gardens. In the small it is not desirable, because it will suffocate the other plants. It is good to always isolate the encounter from smaller and valuable plants, as it spreads very quickly. It can be planted in pots and twigs, also as a cascading plant.
