Most people are used to associating nutrition with television. In addition to having dinner in front of the TV, when we sit down to watch a movie or a program, we should always have something to eat - popcorn, seeds, chips and a bunch of other unhealthy things.

In general, eating anything in front of the TV is not the best idea. After dinner we are full enough to continue eating. Over time, this practice becomes a habit and we just can't sit in front of the TV without a packet of popcorn just out of the microwave. When the habit becomes too strong and we can't get rid of it, we should at least have a few healthy options to include in our menu in front of the TV.

The easiest and healthiest solution is to eat fresh fruits and vegetables. For more interesting, cut them into small and unusual shapes or prepare fruit skewers - fun and useful.

Another useful alternative is dried fruit. However, be careful with store-bought ones, as they are mostly treated with various chemicals. Bet on the homemade ones and prepare them yourself. In addition to being healthy, they help treat many diseases.

Nuts and seeds are also suitable for eating on TV, as long as they are raw. The only exception is peanuts. Baked and rolled in salt and flour, they become extremely unhealthy food for the late hours of the day. However, even if you bet on raw nuts and seeds, keep in mind that they are quite high in calories and high in fat.

Fans of vegetarian healthy recipes should definitely try cooked chickpeas. For this purpose, chickpeas are soaked early in the morning and left until the evening. Boil for 10-20 minutes and is ready. If baked, it becomes even more appetizing. Cooked, however, is more useful. It can be seasoned with boiled corn, butter or real Parmesan to taste.

Among the substitutes for popcorn and seeds, there are also appetizingly prepared homemade bruschettas and croutons. When you make them at home, you know what you are eating, unlike the croutons or bread cubes you buy.

If you still stick to popcorn, they can also be healthy. For this purpose, however, you need to find crackling corn or popcorn grains. Their price is double compared to the ready-made packages you buy, but at least you can control the additives, fats and salt you put yourself.
