The data of the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Markets show that the prices of salads have risen by 20.9%. Most fruits and vegetables have also become more expensive.
Salads have jumped by 20.9 percent, and the number is now sold for 0.52 leva.
The price of greenhouse tomatoes increased by 4.2%, as the wholesale kilo of vegetables sold for BGN 1.48. However, imported tomatoes continue to fall in price, and their weight per kilogram is offered for BGN 1.26, which shows that the decrease is by 1.2%.
Greenhouse cucumbers also rose in price during the week by 3.5% and their weight is sold for 1.17 leva.
Prices remained at cabbage - BGN 0.38 per kilogram, potatoes - BGN 0.65 per kilogram and carrots - BGN 0.80 per kilogram.
In the case of fruits, the most serious increase in prices is in the case of cherries, which have increased their values by 10% in just one week and their wholesale weight reached BGN 2.35.
Apples have risen in price by 2.9% and their weight is offered for BGN 1.40.
Lemons are also more expensive, having increased their values by 3.9% and sold for BGN 2.66 per kilogram.
During the week, apricots fell in price by 9.6%, and their kilogram sold for BGN 1.51. Peaches have kept their wholesale prices - BGN 1.20 per kilogram.
The ripe beans have also kept their previous values of BGN 4.16 per kilogram.
Eggs continue to be traded for BGN 0.17 per piece.
Cow's cheese, on the other hand, rose by 1.1% and sold for BGN 5.68 per kilogram. Vitosha yellow cheese has kept its price of BGN 10.64 per kilogram.
During the week the oil has fallen in price by 2% and its current wholesale price is BGN 1.94 per liter.
The minced meat, sugar and flour type 500 have not changed their prices and are sold for respectively - BGN 4.93 per kilogram, BGN 1.34 per kilogram and BGN 0.86 per kilogram.
In one week, the market price index rose to 1,295 points. Last week, its values reached 1,274 points.
